David Long

David has been with Campbell Courtney & Cooney Solicitors since 1974, joining straight from the College of Law in Guildford. David is Head of our Residential Property and Commercial Property Departments and as such specialises in solutions to complex residential and commercial conveyancing issues. His ethos is that no stone can be left unturned, which is why most of his private and commercial clients have returned whenever they move home or their business. Over a period of more than 35 years, David has acted for a number of “household names” commercial clients.

David is also Head of our Family Law and Probate Departments and specialises in financial settlements upon divorce and relationship breakdowns. In the administration of a deceased’s Estate, David charges fees only for work done and without the normal percentage charge based upon the value of the Estate.

David’s main interests outside of his work are his family including four children aged between 27 and 4. He also enjoys travelling, economics, football, Formula One, the Le Mans 24 hours and driving his car. David is a keen Hammers fan and a season-ticket holder at Upton Park.
